As there's a widely contested Democratic primary for the open governor's seat, I thought about whether I'd change my registration to Democrat to take part, especially as there's no Green primary for ANY of the positions I can vote for this year, state or county. I've hired somebody to mow the lawn for me :-)I walked the entire back and front lawn, picking up fallen sticks and limbs, noting how wet the grass was -- my shoes were soaked when I came back indoors.
